The challenge
An existing building requires radical upgrading, while structural strengthening, a new steel roof and building services must be coordinated with architectural refurbishment.
The solution
The intervention was organised as a sequence of critical phases, so demolition, new foundations, anchors and strengthening could safely precede the renewed architecture and finishes.
